Every year I evaluate my tulip order list after the crazy settles down. I have 25,000 on order. Some will get cancelled. But I need to evaluate what is profitable verses what is not. Unfortunately some varieties just aren’t great producers. I’m putting Copper Image in that category. I love this color and the double form but there was just inconsistent production. Maybe it’s me and I’ll try again but not next year. I have some others in the rotation that will get close. If you know of a tulip in this color palette. Let me know. I need it.

It’s been a great spring and good things always come to an end. The last of our tulips are coming out of the crates next week for the biggest flower day of the year. My exact recipe hasn’t been decided but tulips are will be a huge star. Bouquets are now available for purchase. Deluxe and farm bouquets are available for next Friday and Saturday. Link in bio. I have a love hate relationship with anemone. I call them the roach flower because they reproduce at the most unbelievable pace. You cannot miss a day of harvest. I said good bye to the crop last week which means you just let go. The row became a sea of color. The pastels have won my heart. I think as farmers we miss the connection with some flowers because we harvest them way before peak beauty. Now I’ve fallen hard for these soft little roach flowers.
