🐮 Got a tummy tuck today… just kidding!

This little heifer calf actually needed an inguinal hernia repair—and the hernia contained her bladder! 😳

Dr. Morgan & Dr. Brad got everything back where it belongs and the calf recovered beautifully 🐄💪🏻

What a Monday! 🫣

This sheep came in with a severe bloat that continued to (quickly) worsen with medical management. Dr. Morgan performed an emergency rumenotomy..

And what did we find? 👀
🗑️ A large piece of a trash bag
🌻 Thousands of black oil sunflower seeds!
🌿 A lot of grass!

The obstruction was contributing to the persistent ‘frothy’ bloat. Thankfully, Dr. Morgan was able to dump the rumen, give it a quick rinse & Mr. Sheep was walking and eating again within a few hours after surgery. Great job Dr. Morgan!
