Purrrfect Cattitude

Purrrfect Cattitude A lot of people think cats groom themselves but that is not the case. Cats lick themselves Please bring in current paperwork stating your cat is up-to-date.

***Policies***

*Vaccinations*

It is your responsibility to make sure that your cat is up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccination. Small bites and scratches are common, and are no big deal; however, in the event of a serious bite, injury or infection these documents may need to be present during a doctors visit.

*Cat Carrier*

All cats must be brought in a carrier. If you have multiple cats,

they MUST be in separate carriers. NO EXCEPTIONS. I will have one available for purchase.

*Drop off and pick up*

As I have to take my daughter to school I will be home at 9:45. Drop off will be between 9:45 and 10:00. Pick up will be at 2:00 as I have to pick my daughter up. Please don’t be late or you will have to wait until I get back. If these times do not work for you, we can work a time out around our schedules

*Medical Condition*

I will need to know if your cat has a medical condition so I can beware of any problems during grooming.

*Fleas*

If evidence of fleas are found, a gentle de-flea will be performed during the grooming procedure.

*No Shows and cancellations*

A 24 hour cancelation notice is required. Although I understand that sometimes circumstances make it hard or impossible to keep an appointment, I am a very small business and no-shows also represent a substantial loss of income for me, which can never be recouped; so, although you are more than welcome to reschedule, all no-show appointments are subject to $30 surcharge that must be paid before scheduling another grooming appointment.

*USE OF SEDATIVES*

I am not a veterinarian, I do not sedate any cat, and my preference is to avoid sedative use, if possible. if the cat’s stress level should make the groom unsafe (for the cat or the groomer) I will stop the groom. If you aware that this may be a problem, you may consider asking your Veterinarian for a pill that you can give to your cat in advance of the groom. Not a knock-out sedative, just something kitty-valium like to take the edge off for grooming. Most Vets are happy to prescribe an anti anxiety medication for the cats that do not do well in stressful situations.

*Payment*

Payment is due in full at the end of the groom. I accept cash or Venmo only as I do not have anything to accept credit cards. I will give you an estimate of what the grooming will be at drop off. Last but not least a clean cat is a happy cat! It is my job to do what’s best to make your cat as happy as can be
