It’s been another busy week here at Ventosa 🐾

Our E-Collar Seminar, taught by Ryan Leggett, wrapped up on Wednesday. Ryan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, and we’re honored to have had him teach this class for us!

We also welcomed a team for recertification, while our other teams continued training and conditioning to grow, improve, and advance in their work.

Another great week doing what we love! Handler Course #1783 begins in a little over a week, and we’re excited and ready to get these new handlers & instructors started!

We are loving how this order turned out! 🖤

One of our favorite things about this print is the feel. It has that soft, smooth screen-printed feel where the design feels like it’s part of the shirt — not a thick, stiff, plastic or sticker-like print sitting on top of the fabric. 🙌

Happy National Dog Day! 🐾

Dogs add so much love, happiness, and purpose to our lives. They ask for so little but give us absolutely everything they have.

We’re so blessed to spend our days surrounded by these amazing dogs. We get to watch them learn, grow, serve, and form bonds with their handlers that are hard to even put into words. We truly love every dog that comes through our doors, and we’re so thankful we get to play even a small part in their journey.

We don’t just teach and train it, we live it 💪 a great find from our very own Officer Burton and K9 W***y 👏

“Around 3:30 this afternoon, Monroe Police Department’s Aggressive Criminal Enforcement unit stopped a vehicle near Dickerson Boulevard and West Roosevelt Boulevard after the driver ran a red light.
During the traffic stop, K9 W***y alerted officers to the vehicle. Officers searched the vehicle and found a kilo of co***ne inside a shoebox.

The driver, identified as Oscar Ismael Munoz-Aleman, 26, of Charlotte, was arrested and charged with:
-Trafficking in Co***ne
-Maintaining a Vehicle for the Purpose of Selling a Controlled Substance

Munoz-Aleman was taken to the Union County Detention Center.

We’re proud of W***y and his ability to help our officers keep dangerous drugs off the streets. He did what he does best and this time it led officers to a significant amount of co***ne.”
