Just wanted to update yall.

If you’ve been to the shop, you know my Kash man.

He had a dirtbike accident this weekend at a race, and had surgery on his right femur.

It’s going to take some time to get him accustomed to using a walker/wheelchair and able to get himself from point A to point B without assistance.

I hope to be able to be back to grooming very soon. Please be patient with me as I work out all the kinks.

I will reach out for rescheduling as soon as I have a plan.

Due to an Emergency, all grooming apts are cancelled for this week, September 14-18th.

If you see this and you have an apt this week please comment so I know you’ve been notified and I won’t have to send a text later.

If you’ve messaged for an apt and I haven’t responded this weekend, please know I’ve got your message and I will get with you as soon as I’m able.

Just checking in-

I’ve been out this past week on vacation.
I will be getting back to each of you who messaged during that time before end of day today.

Also want to give Marie Holtzclaw a huge shoutout for holding down the fort and taking care of everything while I was gone!

Due to my schedule remaining consistently booked out, and wanting to make sure I can continue to properly accommodate my established clients, Southern Paws is not currently accepting new clients at this time until further notice.

If you request an appointment through ClickBook and are not already an established client, the request will not be approved.

I strongly encourage current clients to schedule their next appointment at the time of checkout to ensure you have a spot when you need it. Clients who rebook within 8 weeks also receive $5 off their next visit.

All dogs must have current vaccination records on file. Vaccines are due ANNUALLY unless a valid 3-year vaccine has been administered.

🚨No exceptions:
• Records must be provided at the time of your appointment/boarding stay
• If records are not received, your appointment will be canceled and your dog will not be permitted to stay

This policy is strictly enforced to protect the health of all dogs in my care — including my own. I understand not all facilities require this, as it is a personal business choice and not a law for the state of KY (although it should be). However, I am responsible for every pet that enters my facility, and I take that very seriously. Therefore, I reserve the right to decline services to anyone who does not comply with this policy. 😌

If you haven’t sent me your updated record, please text it to 606-872-8480 or you can have your vet email it to [email protected] before you next scheduled visit.
