A Note About Our Payment Policy

At Mountain Shadow Veterinary Hospital, our goal is always to provide the best possible care for your pets while making sure expectations around treatment and costs are clear from the beginning. ❤️

Beginning September 1st, 2026, we are updating our payment policy for surgeries and hospitalizations.

🐾 For scheduled surgeries:
A 50% deposit of the surgical estimate will be due at the time of drop-off. The remaining balance will be due when your pet is discharged.

🏥 For hospitalizations:
Payment for the estimated cost of hospitalization will be due at the time of drop-off. This may include services such as hospitalization, IV fluids, monitoring, diagnostic testing (such as an LDDS test), and other anticipated treatments.

If your pet’s care requires additional services beyond the original estimate, we will communicate with you and obtain approval before proceeding whenever possible.

We understand that veterinary care can be unexpected, and we are happy to discuss estimates and payment expectations with you ahead of your pet’s appointment. Our team is here to help make the process as clear and comfortable as possible.
