Hunting is more than a tradition, it's a connection and bond that we share between family and friends, which of course includes our canine hunting companions. Meet Tim Clark and his hunting buddy, Cedar. Tim, the co-founder of Kinfolk Hunting Collective, shared with us their experience hunting together.

"While I love waterfowl hunting, it’s Cedar, my Labrador retriever, who lives for it. Our stories were braided together at a NYC Ducks Unlimited dinner: he, a mere 9-week old puppy, and me, a guy from Brooklyn with zero training experience. Together, we taught each other how to learn, first in Prospect Park, then in the marshes and field trial grounds of the northeast. But as time passes, I find that he’s the one teaching me: as he works the wind to find a downed bird, or as his watchful eyes flick up to an incoming duck before I can spot it, I grow more aware of the landscape around me. It seems only fitting that we found each other thanks to an organization that protects the landscapes and animals we both love."

Through our Hunting for the Bond campaign, we're asking YOU to share those moments with your hunting dogs. Submit a photo that captures your hunting bond by 1/31/26, and help us highlight what truly makes this experience special. (Link in the comments).

What an incredible day!
We had an amazing time at our 14th Annual Towershoot Fundraiser in support of local veterans in need. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated, donated, or volunteered—your generosity and spirit made the day truly special.

The field was full of fun, the BBQ was delicious, and the raffle was a big hit. Together, we made a real impact, and we couldn’t have done it without this fantastic community!

We’re already looking forward to next year!

Enjoy the photos! ❤️

Oh no! I corrected my typo! The prior flyer said that the BBQ would be here at MVP. It’s been corrected now to read that the BBQ (including raffle, fun and shenanigans!) will, in deed be held at the Betty & Wilber Davis State Park Pavillion!!! Thank you, Joanne Carey for noticing! Hope to see you all on October 4th!! Can’t wait! ❤️
