What a fun show today! I got to show with a fun group of fellow breeders!
Rabbit Hollow's Cypress picked up 2 legs (for a total of 3!) at the NCRBA show in Gaithersburg Md today!

Specially, under Joey Martin, RH Cypress took BOSB
Show B, under Travis Finkel, took BOB

Thank you Eyerer for a beautiful boy! You told me a year ago you can't wait to see him in a year! He's definitely BLOOMED!

Updated pictures of Jumping Bunnies Nightshade & Jumping Bunnies Little Boy Blue! They're now 4 mo old...still in need of a molt! 🤣
I don't know that they ever truly went through an "ugly" stage. But they're definitely growing up & showing their potential!

I just CANNOT keep my hands off of these 2 littles! They definitely need to molt, but WOWZA! Both these babies have bone & width! I am SO EXCITED to watch them keep growing up!

Jumping Bunnies Little Boy Blue (Blue Tort)
He will probably be more broody. He's longer in body. But LOOK AT HIS HEAD! And those CHEEKS!! 🤩

Jumping Bunnies Nightshade (Black) Short is his middle name! He is short bodied, with short, stumpy front legs. His head will just keep getting better & better!

A friend said not long ago, "I'm competing against myself". HOW TRUE! And sometimes, the reminder is much needed!

See, in my opinion, what's the most important part of this hobby I love, is the FRIENDS & CONNECTIONS I've made! Without them, it's a lonely show. Yes, it's fun watching rabbits you've worked hard for, you've sweat, froze, bled & cried over, get placed well on the show table. But what does it actually MEAN in the long run? Not much. Winners come & go. Sometimes you remember the name/breeder the next time around or a year later. But without the friends to share the ups & downs with, to celebrate not just YOUR wins, but THEIRS as well, what is this hobby? It becomes cutthroat. It becomes back stabbing & empty.

Raising rabbits & hollands in particular, is hard enough. We need each other to help build each other up & keep us going through those struggles.

With all that said, I am SO excited with my placings at PASRBA last weekend! I am excited to see/hear the progress I've been making! Are they perfect? ABSOLUTELY NOT! But they ARE improving & I am so excited!
