🐾 IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR ALL TAILS ‘N TANGLES CLIENTS! 🐾

Hey everyone! ❤️

Over the past few weeks, I’ve had several clients mention that they are not receiving their appointment reminders. I wanted to address this with everyone because I know how important those reminders are!

📱 How appointment reminders should work:

All clients should receive appointment reminders 72 hours and 48 hours before their scheduled appointments.

These reminders should come through:

* 📲 Text message from a toll-free 800 number
* 📧 Email if you have an email address on file with me

I recently discovered a few things on my end that needed to be updated, and I’m hoping those changes will help resolve the issue. However, I can’t guarantee that everything is working correctly just yet.

Here are a few things you can try on your end to help!

🐾 1. Check your blocked numbers. Make sure the 800 number that sends your reminders hasn’t accidentally been blocked on your phone. You may also need to contact your phone carrier to make sure toll-free text messages aren’t being blocked through them.

🐾 2. Try restarting your text reminders. If you’ve received appointment reminders from me in the past, go into that same message thread and text the word START. This may help reactivate your messages!

🐾 3. Add your email address! If you’re unsure whether I have your email address on file, please reach out! I’ll gladly check your profile and add it if needed. This gives us another way to hopefully get those reminders to you.

🐾 4. Request your upcoming appointments! If you’re worried about missing an appointment because you haven’t been receiving reminders, please message me! I will gladly send you a list of all your scheduled appointments so you have them handy while we work through this.

I’m still trying to figure out exactly why these reminders have suddenly stopped working for some clients. Unfortunately, I don’t have all the answers just yet, but I’m doing what I can on my end to get things running smoothly again.

This may take a little trial and error, and it’s something we’re going to have to work through together!

In the meantime, please don’t rely solely on the automated reminders to keep track of your appointments. I would hate for anyone to miss an appointment because a reminder didn’t come through!

🐾🎉 It’s Tails ‘N Tangles turn to wish a HAPPY 6TH BIRTHDAY TO OUR VERY OWN BELLA GIRL! 🎉🐾

Bella, Bella Rose, Bella Bean, Bean, Be***rs, and of course, Bella Lucy (as Weston used to call her when she was just a pup 😂❤️).

Our sweet girl didn't have the easiest start in life. At just a few weeks old, she was surrendered simply because she looked too much like a Pit Bull. She was then adopted by a second family, only to experience abuse. 💔 But thankfully, her story didn't end there. She finally found her way to us, and we couldn't imagine our family without her!

For a dog who has been through so much, she is hands down THE BIGGEST BABY IN THIS HOUSE! 😂❤️ She may be a little hesitant around people she doesn't know, but honestly, can you blame her after everything she's been through? Once she trusts you, you have a friend for life.

She's sweet, she's loyal, and she loves her family BIG! Her favorite things include jumping on the trampoline with her kids, cuddling up with her Eli at bedtime, and spending her days lounging outside on the porch, just watching the world go by. 🥹

Bella Rose, you may have been passed from home to home before finding us, but you'll never have to wonder where you belong again. You are safe, you are loved, and you are HOME. Forever. ❤️
We love you more than you'll ever know, Bean! We're so thankful that out of all the families in the world, you chose US to be your forever family.

🔔🐾 A Little Update on a previous Tails ‘N Tangles Update! 🐾🔔

You may notice something new at the shop — I now have a Ring doorbell! 😊

As I mentioned before, the shop door will remain locked while I am grooming. When you arrive for your appointment, simply ring the doorbell and I will come to the door as soon as I safely can.

🐶 If a groom is currently in progress, I may ask you to wait outside or in your vehicle for just a few minutes until I am finished and it is safe for me to open the door.

Please know this is never meant to be unwelcoming! ❤️ This change is solely for the safety and comfort of all of my sweet pups. An unexpected person entering while I’m working with clippers, scissors, or a nervous or easily distracted pup can quickly create an unsafe situation.

Keeping Tails ‘N Tangles a calm, quiet, one-on-one environment is always my priority. 🐾✂️

Thank you so much for understanding and helping me keep every pup who comes through my door safe, happy, and comfortable! 💕
