My goats, Nibbler and Bender found one of the tubs where I keep extra hay so I took the lid off and let them help themselves. Ella, has a severe case of fear of missing out and absolutely must be involved in everything happening at all times. So obviously she decided she was also a goat and needed some hay. She gave it a try, immediately regretted her life choices, and spit it right back out. 🤣

Franklin County Animal Services let us take 5 more kitties to them! 🥳 These beautiful kittens will be ready for adoption after they're spayed and neutered. You can go meet them at Franklin County Animal Services.

Binxie and his brother, Felix went to a foster home a few weeks ago. They’re both very needy, affectionate boys so I thought they would be happier somewhere they could get more one-on-one attention.

Unfortunately, things didn’t go well at all. Binxie got out within the first few days and Felix was absolutely horrified in the new environment without his brother. After a week of Felix refusing to come out of hiding, I brought him back home while we kept looking for Binxie. Today, I FINALLY TRAPPED HIM! I have been so worried, thinking the worst!

He’s very thin after being out on his own, but he's ok. He's healthy and no injuries. He has stayed right beside me and has been talking his little head off.

I’m so relieved to have this sweet boy safe again. ❤️

🧡 BUTTERSCOTCH NEEDS A FOREVER HOME! 🧡

Butterscotch was dumped at an already full shelter by her first adopters. She was terrified, confused, and heartbroken. Because she was so scared she wouldn’t let anyone handle her and she ended up being scheduled for euthanasia.

Thankfully, I was able to find a foster and get her out of there very last minute! 🥳 Now this beautiful girl has the chance to decompress, feel safe, and learn that people can be trusted. She has a chance at life.

Butterscotch is estimated to be about 1 year old, she is spayed and vaccinated. She has her whole life ahead of her and deserves a family who will give her the patience, stability, and love she should have had from the beginning.

As soon as I pulled in my driveway after going to Zebulon, my phone rang. Someone had found a kitten on campus in Elon and they couldn’t catch it so they wanted to borrow a trap.

I put my car in reverse and went to help. I met two really nice girls who had already been trying to catch this little baby for 4 hours. It took us a while to trap her too but we got her and they named her Angel.

I have Angel for the night but the two girls who worked so hard to save this baby are roommates and they're going keep her! This little girl went from scared and alone outside to having a safe home with two people who love her. 🩶

Angel is doing good and seems healthy.

I went out to Zebulon to the house I'm helping out with 40 cats. The plan was to try trapping a pregnant feral cat to be spayed but instead of going into the trap, she gave birth to 3 little gray tabby babies.

So instead I took this beautiful boy to the shelter so he can find his forever home. His name is Pumpkin and he is 9 months old. He will be ready for adoption after he is neutered. You can go meet him at Franklin County Animal Services.

🚨🚨🚨UPDATE!!!
I spoke with the local shelter where the 40 cats are and they are going to help me! 🥳🥳
They obviously can't take all the cats but they are going to help me neuter and rehome some which is wonderful!

I'm still looking for another rescue to help me tackle this! My house is full and my funds are limited! If you know any rescues around Zebulon, NC please tag them in one of my posts about this or reach out to them!

If you're able to foster or interested in adopting please let me know!!! This house is full of absolutely beautiful cats!!! Mostly calicos and orange kitties!! There are short, medium and long haired kitties!

I have not had time to TNR much in quite some time. I've been focusing on getting my rescue set up and a million things that go along with that! I have some more time now and really want to get back to helping the community with the feral cat population!
I will NOT be trapping in Alamance county because it's a 4 month wait for their Mighty Mouser program! Luckily the Orange County shelter is the exact same distance from my house.
If you have stray or feral cats on your property or you know of some in public areas who need help, let me know! I do not and have never made money doing this, I just ask for help covering my gas and bait for the traps.
