The Four Phases of Denial

Phase 1: Ms. Daisy is doing her best to convince Lola that she absolutely did not do it.

Phase 2: A determined effort to avoid producing the evidence.

Phase 3: The realization sets in—embarrassment and sorrow.

Phase 4: Acceptance. Daisy apologetically assists Autumn in counting the raisins she definitely didn't eat.
