Global 2027 or bust!

This will be Sully’s 4th Global Pet Expo and Róisín’s 2nd, and so far every year has had its learning curves 😂

2024: Figuring out what the heck we were doing - Sully and I were very much little fish in a VERY big pond.

2025: The year of the wheelchair - where people were amazed to meet a wolfhound but ALSO - a giant in a wheelchair?!

2026: The year of bringing TWO Irish Wolfhounds to Global by myself and hoping like heck Róisín would behave 😬 thankfully she took her cues from Mr. Calm, Cool and Collected himself and was a model puppy.

God only knows what 2027 will bring! 😂 🤞

Global has honestly become one of our favorite trips of the year, and I’m already excited to see what shenanigans we get ourselves into this time.

An unpopular POV...that clearly I don't share 😂

We're running somewhere around 275 lbs of dog these days...just a TINY bit over 50 lbs!

Sully and Róisín help me say YES to more adventures!

Today, that meant taking two Irish wolfhounds to hang out with a herd of elephants in Boston 😂🐘

If you haven’t heard of The Great Elephant Migration, it’s a traveling art installation made up of life-sized elephant sculptures, created to bring attention to wildlife conservation and human-wildlife coexistence.

Adventuring with these two means I’m also usually carrying half our lives with me, which is one of the reasons I like our .leash so much. It has grommets on it, so I can clip on our p**p bag holder, collapsible water bowl, keys, or whatever else we need that day instead of carrying everything myself.

Are outings with 275-ish pounds of Irish Wolfhound always convenient? Absolutely NOT. 😂 But they’ve gotten me out exploring, traveling, finding weird and cool dog-friendly things to do, and making a whole lot of memories I probably wouldn’t have made otherwise.

So I guess they really have made me say yes to more.
