Today we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and our freedom.

We also remember the courageous canine warriors who stood beside them. Military working dogs have served with loyalty, courage, and unwavering dedication, protecting lives and serving alongside our troops through some of the most difficult moments in history.

This Memorial Day, we honor all who served and all who gave everything. Their sacrifice, devotion, and legacy will never be forgotten.

From all of us at Dawgs at Work, thank you to our fallen heroes, their families, and the four-legged partners who answered the call of duty.

It’s been a while since Zoey has been in a hospital setting. But she maneuvered like a champ! She loves when the automatic doors open for her, she sits in the elevator so patiently, she doesn’t mind the unfamiliar noises. She impressed some folks with her training and behaviors. We are just so proud of our girl!

Today was a bittersweet day at Dawgs at Work as Lucy officially graduated from our program and headed off to her forever home.

From the very beginning, Lucy has been surrounded by love, dedication, and people who poured so much into helping her become the incredible dog she is today. A huge thank you to our foster family, Terri and Alan, for helping raise her and giving her such an amazing foundation. The countless hours, patience, and love invested in her journey helped shape Lucy into a dog truly capable of making a difference.

Lucy is now stepping into an important new chapter as an emotional support dog, and we have no doubt she is going to do amazing things. Some dogs come into our lives and leave paw prints on our hearts. Lucy is one of those dogs.

Watching them grow, learn, and eventually spread their wings is always emotional, but seeing them step into a purpose bigger than themselves makes every moment worth it.

Congratulations, Lucy. We are so proud of you and cannot wait to watch your next chapter unfold.

Your puppy’s journey starts here.

At Dawgs at Work, we help clients find the right puppy for their lifestyle, goals, and experience level through our trusted partnership with Doggit and ethical, reputable breeders.

Once your puppy is selected, they begin their journey in a trainer’s home through our 2-week home-based Puppy Board and Train Camp. Your puppy lives with one of our professional trainers where we start building the foundation for success from day one in a real home environment, not a kennel facility.

During their stay, we focus on:
• Housebreaking and crate training
• Confidence building and socialization
• Basic manners and obedience
• Leash introduction and engagement
• Creating positive habits and routines

Our goal is to help give your puppy the best possible start while helping make the transition into your home smoother and less overwhelming.
