Always nice to get mail from AKC and a bit surprised. Been expecting the litter registration papers, instead get a breeder-owner medallion for Sailor’s MACH. Co-owner Jill Kulczyk actually did all the training and handling for his Master Agility Championship.
Gerard got mail too - another Agility level title. Really enjoying running Gerard as his Agility career winds down.

Danny K x Judy puppies arrived today. Seven pups: five black females, one brown female, one brown boy. Since I want a female, I was expecting all boys. What a surprise! All are healthy, vigorous, and with good weights.

Poodles must be the most competitive breed for AKC Agility Invitational. Gerard makes it by ONE point! On March 31st, he was in what I thought was a comfortable 700 point lead sitting in second place. I missed four weekends of trialing to do Conformation with Cadet and get Judy bred. GRATEFUL to have made it. Congrats to all the other Poodles on this list. AKC Dog Agility Community

Gerard is ranked #7 all breeds at 24" jump height. All breed ranking requires 5 qualifying runs in each Standard and Jumpers Agility and the average of all runs are calculated. The faster the dog, the lower the Qualifying rate. That's why Esme is #1 on the Poodle rankings with Gerard #2. I'm pretty sure Gerard has been the only Std Poodle to ever be on this all breed list.

Judy got mail from AKC. That's a nice way to start her maternity leave. We like the puppies from the last pairing of Judy and DannyK so much, we did a repeat. We're hoping to keep a female this time. Our Cadet is a boy from the first pairing and we LOVE him. All Cadet's littermates are showing great promise as sports dogs. Judy is Gerard's full sister so are expecting great things out on the Agility courses. AKC Dog Agility Community
