💗💗 Foster mom Ashley is going away for a few days so I get to foster the fosters. Their mother was attacked severely by a dog and had to be euthanized. They are so tiny, but doing a great job at eating their slurry! Ashley says they aren’t interested in being bottle fed. I’ll get a weight on them later. Ashley calls them the Jurassic kittens. Blue, Charlie, Delta, and Echo🐾 The video is kind of dark as I took it before we had total daylight this morning.

❤️❤️❤️❤️ Zues got adopted yesterday!!!! The man who adopted him lives alone and wanted a companion. He will definitely have a great companion as Zues demands attention. He gets so happy that he drools. Have a great life Zues. I’ll miss him and the adopter assured me he will send pictures and updates🐾🐾

🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛. Kittens🐾🐾🐾. There are four kittens here and two more I don’t have pictures of. This is another story of several rescuers working together. All six of them are being fostered by Ashley, but if it gets too much for her she may want to split them up. The four pictured are one litter. They won’t be ready for adoption for 6 - 8 weeks, but we wanted to try to generate some interest🤞🤞🤞
I’ve been trying to get out of the “kitten business”, but one of my rescue friends said “no matter how hard you try you can’t unsubscribe”!!!!!!!

When you name a lot of cats each week, sometimes their names come from whatever surprises arrive at intake. For Bugs, that surprise was… well, bugs. He came in covered in chewing lice, with thin fur and an infestation that made him pretty miserable. So, the name stuck. But here’s the good news — Bugs is no longer buggy and is feeling so much better after receiving the care he desperately needed. Now he’s ready for the part of his story where he finds a home. Bugs is a cuddly, people‑loving guy who enjoys chatting with you and soaking up attention. He’s not too focused on toys yet — cuddling is absolutely his top priority. This is our little feral, Callie. She is such a sweet, funny, playful kitty. I hope she will get socialized more and get adopted. She could be adopted if someone would like her, but just can’t touch her (at this time). She comes very close to me and once I awhile I can sneak in a pet!! She had lived on the street for over a year and avoided the trap. This year she was trapped and her 7 week old kittens went to the Whisker Lounge and now are in a foster home🥰🥰

Zeus’s fur grew back nicely and he is beautiful again. Zeus showed up at a country residence with fur terribly matted. The citizen fed him and tried to get the mats out, but it was impossible.

She couldn’t keep him as she already had a cat so she contacted KOTP. He went to the vet and got the mats shaved, vaccinated, and tested for felv/fiv. He was already neutered and his ear clipped, like he was a trap, neuter, and release kitty, but he is super friendly so he had to have been in a home. He drools when he’s getting petted. I have to have a tissue handy!!!

If you’re in the market for a lap cat, Zeus would fit the bill. He absolutely loves other cats, although that is not always appreciated by the other felines. Adoption fee is $100.00 and a short application is required.

After weeks of talking to this guy and trying to earn his trust, it finally happened last week. Someone apparently “dumped” him at the rescue, and luckily he stayed around. I put food out for the sole kitty that is outside on the property so Orangie had food. Last Friday I thought I would try picking him up and set a carrier next to him. It worked!!! I shoved him in the carrier and took him into the building. I put him in a large cage till I got him wormed and applied. Luckily I was able to get him in to be neutered and vaccinated on Monday. Orangie has just melted, is very affectionate and demands a lot of attention😻
I thought he was very young by the looks of his body, but by the looks of his teeth Orangie is several years old. After he gets the dental issues taken care of Orangie will be available for adoption.
