Kitties On The Prairie Cat Rescue Kitties On The Prairie is a 501c3 non profit cat rescue. We've been at our curent site since September 2006. We are a cage free, euthanasia free facility.

We also have a few ferals that, after spay/neutering choose to live outside. We have buildings and feeding areas for those cats. We also have many special needs cats that a

re not adoptable and require lifetime care. Donations are especially needed for them. If you can't have a cat and want to get your "kitty fix" we love to have visitors come out and socialize with them. Helping with nail trimming is always appreciated as well. Sardine is an adorable young kitten who bonds deeply with the people he trusts. He’s the kind of boy who needs time, patience, and gentle reassurance — but once you win him over, he truly blossoms. 🐾🐈‍⬛🐾. We have a new, and soon to be beautiful again kitty, that just came in today. The kitty pictured is Mr. T. I used his picture because the new guy is going to be a large, long haired, super friendly kitty and will look like Mr. T. I didn’t want to show how he presently looks.
This kitty was found in the country and apparently abandoned. His long fur is terribly matted and needs to get these mats shaved off. I’ll treat him for fleas and worms today, and get him to the vet soon.
I’ll be looking for a foster home in the near future after his vet visit🥰

🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛ Tux, a beautiful kitty, who refuses to trust humans. The picture was taken inside the building, but if I were to go out into the catio, he would scamper away and hide!!! Tux was part of an abandoned farm relocation where we removed twenty cats, who were all unsocialized. We kept 10 of them and the others were placed elsewhere.
