Summer is officially here and so is the heat.

Pets can overheat quickly, especially flat-faced breeds, senior pets, and those with thick coats. Watch for:

- Heavy panting
- Excessive drooling
- Lethargy and/or weakness
- Vomiting

To all of our clients, please note the hospital will be CLOSED this Saturday, 5/30. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding & flexibility. We will be open our usual hours from 8:30am-5pm today and tomorrow for scheduled appointments, medication & food pick-up! If your pet needs to be seen when we are closed, we recommend calling one of the urgent care/emergency facilities pinned to the top of our page!

Traveling with your pet this Memorial Day weekend?

A few things to prepare:

• Make sure flea/tick/heartworm prevention is current
• Research if a health certificate is needed for travel.
• Pack food, water, meds, and vet records
• Update microchip contact info
• Never leave pets in hot cars

To our valued clients, the hospital will be CLOSED on Monday, May 25th, in observance of Memorial Day. We will reopen Tuesday, May 26th at 8:30am. If you are planning to travel for the long weekend and need your pet'(s) medication or preventatives, we encourage you to call ahead and allow at least 24 hours for a refill.
We will be open today and tomorrow until 5:00pm, and Saturday from 8:30am to 1:00pm.
