Sadly, we are finding dog parks barricaded and locked up with chains - CLOSED. 😥 Anyone having better luck?

Today we visited the Danvers Dog Park nestled in Endicott Park in Danvers.

This park was created through a Stanton Foundation grant (see link). It is really the Rolls Royce of Dog parks.

All the amenities including trash receptacles and biodegradable baggies, benches, water foundations, shaded areas, jumping areas. The jumping structures (low stone fences) are beautifully build into the area as natural play structures. I wish I captured the image of Luna running and jumping over them like a show dog! It was great!

There are trails nearby and a playground too. A wonderful place to spend sometime with your best friend 🐕

Taking short walks in the neighborhood lately. Looking forward to visiting other dog parks soon. Which one is your favorite?
