Got a little too stretchy today and taking some arena sand as a parting gift on her nose 🤣

The best way to get these babies broke and started over fences is out on the trail! Owen had a successful first pace, and clearly is showing much promise in his start over fences! 🩷 thanks to Brian Wilcox for the pics!

Lally | JC Lieutenants Legacy
2020 Thoroughbred Mare | 16.2h

Lally is truly as sweet as they come! ❤️ A quality young mare with the movement, jump, and temperament to make a lovely hunter prospect for someone willing to put a little mileage on a good one.

Very lightly raced, Lally has had an inconsistent program since coming off the track and is still a project, but she has all the right pieces to develop into a competitive partner. She has good bone, lovely movement, and a cute, willing jump. Lightly started over fences, she is honest and straightforward, with a quiet, kick-type ride on the flat.

Lally would be a great fit for a confident amateur or teen with guidance, or a professional looking for a quality young horse to develop and eventually add to their own program. An excellent opportunity for someone looking for quality and potential without the finished-horse price tag.

💰 🥕s to move quickly in the mid 4s.

One week here and this cutie little project is blossoming! And, embarrassing on my part, we finally measured this girl and she’s 16.2h 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️ everything looks small when the rest of the barn is 17+ lol.

Another Hunter hopeful has somehow found her way into my barn! 🦄

Lieutenants Legacy (“Lally”)
2020 | 16.2h | Thoroughbred Mare

If doe eyes and a cute face could sell a horse, Lolli would already be gone! This sweet girl is as adorable as they come, with a kind disposition and a seemingly good mind to match.

Lightly raced and retired to her owner’s farm, Lally has had an inconsistent start to her second career and is still very much a work in progress. She is vice-free, uncomplicated to handle, and happily walks, trots, and canters in the arena. Once she settles into the bridle, she shows a lovely step and a way of going that makes you want to see what’s next.

She has been introduced to small jumps and shows plenty of potential for someone looking to develop their own cute TB Hunter. She’ll need a confident rider, some consistency, and a little guidance as she continues to learn the ropes, but the ingredients are there for a very fun project.

Looking for a sweet, pretty prospect to bring along without breaking the bank? Lally might just be your girl!

Mixing it up today and taking Baby Owen to an obstacle clinic! Seriously what a fun and confidence boosting outing for a 3 year old, so proud of how he handled it all. Couldn’t ask for a better brain on this baby horse 💞 huge thanks to Blue Wood Farm & Vineyard for hosting such a fun event !!

What a weekend at the Saratoga Schooling Show Finale! 🥳

We didn’t let the weather hold us back, and realistically, it held out for the most part and gave us a pretty stellar weekend. And of course, having great company is just the cherry on top.

So proud of all of my riders!

Jess & Mags made their 1 meter debut 🥳 Watching this little horse blossom from the beginning of “is she gonna yeet me?” to entering full-on beast mode with her mama is just the best. ❤️

And then, just for fun, Day 2 brought an IHSA-style horse swap! Jess hopped on Dro and took him around the .90s with style. 👏🏼

Chrissy & Dro also put together a couple of great rounds in the .70s & .80s, and continue to make such nice progress together!💙

And TATER. The journey continues. Progress over perfection. 🖤

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us this weekend. You guys are awesome, and I’m so lucky to have such a great crew! ❤️❤️ and thanks to Alex Zhang for the amazing pics as always! Until next year!

Who is looking for the CUTEST project pony?! 🦄

Gracie is a 7-year-old Mustang who clearly missed the memo that she’s supposed to be wild and has decided she’d much rather be a hunter pony. 😂

Gracie was purchased as a 3-year-old by her current owners and has primarily enjoyed a light career of trail riding and hunter pacing. She hasn’t been in consistent work over the past year, but since coming here she has been nothing short of easy and fun. She is a green little kick-along ride who is willing, uncomplicated, and genuinely enjoyable to work with.

She is not dangerous, but she is a green pony who simply needs more miles and education. With a brave kid or teenager, I think she could be a really fun project to bring along as a large children’s pony. She could also easily continue in a trail riding/hunter pacing home. She would be best suited to a confident rider who can provide clear direction, as she is young and may take advantage of a timid rider.

Gracie is barefoot, an easy keeper, and vice-free. She has a sweet, uncomplicated personality and is the type of pony who makes you smile while you’re working with her.

She is still a project, but a fun, safe, and genuinely likable one with a lot of potential for the right person.

A great home is of utmost importance.

Mid 4s to keep, but owner will consider a borrowing option locally to the right program

Honestly, I was tempted not to post this, but then I thought, whatever 😂

I know you’re all probably tired of hearing about this horse, but if you could have seen where we were a year ago, you’d understand why I’m so ridiculously happy with him today. I am the queen of celebrating small wins over here, so just let me have this one, okay? 😂😂

There were days when his trot felt 17 miles long and there was absolutely zero control, just blindly trotting as fast as he could while I held on and hoped I wasn’t about to get yeeted into the sky. Then.. we won’t talk about his canter lol.

And then when we did finally have some semblance of canter, the most controlled out-of-control canter I’d ever ridden. Like, I couldn’t necessarily make it stop, but also… holy crap, he felt AMAZING. 😂 but… it was then the only gait I had LOL.

It’s been a total roller coaster, and I know there will always be ups and downs. So yes, trotting a few jumps with him taking me there happily and politely? Incredible. Cantering a tiny crossrail? Somebody break out the ch*****ne. 😂🥂will be come out that way tomorrow? I guess we’ll see!

I just have so much love for this horse. We needed each other in our lives, even though neither of us knew it at the time. I’ll spare you on my end of the story.

I’m always going to be the realist, and I know progress isn’t ever linear or something you can take for granted. But for right now, I’m going to enjoy the hell out of these little wins when we have them. ❤️

Bindi is really starting to give me such a good feeling over fences. ❤️

She’s technically been “under saddle” for a calendar year, but she only had about 30 rides in 2025 and didn’t really start consistently going to work until this spring. I’d guess she’s had fewer than 10 jump schools this year, which makes how dependable she is already that much more exciting.

It makes me so happy to be able to get on, head to the ring, and feel like I’m going to have a solid, willing ride. Is it perfect? Absolutely not. But there is SO much there.

And honestly, having another baby that I made turn out to be this dang good is pretty damn rewarding. ❤️
