thanks for being my test dummy today Sarah..🤪🫶🏻
Fancy hasn’t been ridden in MONTHS, safe to say she was an angel which was honestly a little surprising😂

Cedar has always been such a happy-go-lucky guy in the ring & i love how much confidence he instills in my barn kiddos, Harper especially. 🤎🐴

With this surprise heat wave rolling in, I wanted to make everyone aware of an important summer policy for both rider and horse safety. ☀️🐴

Once temperatures reach roughly 80–85° (especially with humidity, & our arena being directly within the sunlight), I will not be teaching mounted riding lessons. Heat exhaustion and overheating can happen quickly for both horses and riders, and their wellbeing always comes first.

However, students are still more than welcome to come to the barn during their scheduled lesson time! We can use that time for valuable unmounted horsemanship education such as:
• grooming & horse care
• tacking up correctly
• groundwork & handling
• horse behavior/body language
• anatomy & health discussions
• bathing, cooling out, and summer horse care
• barn management skills
• confidence building around horses

These are all incredibly important parts of becoming a well-rounded equestrian, and there is still so much to learn even when it’s too hot to ride.

Thank you all for understanding and helping me prioritize the health and comfort of both horses and riders this summer 💛

Dude is slowly making his debut back into the program after a long year off from various injuries (🤦🏼‍♀️) , so excited to have Sarah helping with his rehab back into the program! She had a lot of her “firsts” under saddle with this horse.🤎🐴

Feeling extra grateful lately. A day FULL of lessons with some of the coolest kids.

There were moments I genuinely wondered if I’d ever rebuild everything again & now my days are packed with lessons, horse care, cleaning clients, messages, scheduling chaos, and honestly… the kind of “busy” I used to pray for.

To every client who trusts me with their kids, homes, and support: thank you. Truly. My business is only surviving because people have continued to choose me & my program over and over again, and I never take that lightly.

I’m tired in the best way possible lately- & so incredibly grateful for the people helping make this little childhood dream grow. I’m so appreciative of every single one of you & so happy to have the “problem” of being SO busy.🐴✨

finally got a pic of Harper on Cedar with his ears forward. took long enough😂
