Sometimes our patients arrive in the most unexpected packages!💚

This tiny little baby was brought to us over the weekend after being found all alone underneath someone’s car and in need of some serious TLC—and around-the-clock care. We aren’t quite sure what this little one will grow up to be just yet, but that certainly didn’t stop Dr. Gerds from swooping in to lend a helping hand (and a whole lot of love)!

Pictured here is Dr. Gerds syringe-feeding this little fighter before heading home to continue providing the round-the-clock care they need.

We’re keeping our fingers crossed for this tiny patient and hoping they continue to fight hard! We’ll do everything we can to give this little one the best chance possible.

Summer brings sunshine, travel, cookouts, gardening, and more outdoor adventures, but it can also bring increased risk of toxin exposure for pets.

AAHA teamed up with to highlight common summer pet toxins veterinary teams may encounter, including:

🌊 Blue-green algae

🌿 THC/marijuana products

🌺 Azaleas, rhododendrons, and oleander

🐌 Slug and snail bait

🐭 Rodenticides

The article also includes a printable client handout your team can use in exam rooms, discharge packets, newsletters, or social media education.

With potential poisonings, early intervention matters. Help clients know what to watch for and remind them to call their veterinary team or a resource like Pet Poison Helpline right away if exposure is suspected.

Some days are just too good to keep to ourselves... and Saturday was definitely one of them!

We had not one, not two, but FOUR adorable bully breed babies come visit us! With so many perfect squishy faces, happy smiles, and sweet little wiggle butts filling the clinic, there was absolutely no way we could choose just one Pet of the Week. These lovable bullies reminded us exactly why we love what we do!

So this week, we're celebrating all four of these amazing pups! Thank you for brightening our day with your endless love, goofy personalities, and tail wags. We can't wait to see you all again! 🐾❤️

Happy 4th of July from all of us at Advanced Care Pet Hospital! 🐾🇺🇸

We wish you, your family, and your furry friends a fun, safe, and happy Independence Day weekend!

As you celebrate, please remember that loud fireworks can be stressful for many pets. Make sure your pets have a secure, comfortable place indoors, and double check that collars, microchips, and identification tags are up to date.

📢 Holiday Hours:
Our clinic will be CLOSED on Friday, July 3rd, and Saturday, July 4th so our team can enjoy the holiday with their families and pets as well.

We will resume normal business hours on Sunday, 9am-5pm.

This week, we're excited to introduce the absolutely stunning Treeko! This beautiful gecko paid us a visit, and it's safe to say he left the entire team mesmerized. From his incredible colors and unique patterns to his calm and curious personality, Treeko was a true joy to have in the clinic.

We love caring for all kinds of pets here at Advanced Care Pet Hospital, and visits from our exotic friends always make the day a little more exciting. Treeko reminded us just how amazing and diverse the animal world can be! Just look at that beautifully intricate design just within his one little eye! Mind-blowing!

Just a friendly heads up that Advanced Care Pet Hospital will be CLOSED tomorrow for some scheduled clinic maintenance.
