As we prepare to celebrate Independence Day, please remember that fireworks can be stressful and frightening for many pets.

If your pet requires medication to help keep them calm and comfortable during the holiday festivities, please give our office a call as soon as possible. We kindly ask that you allow at least 24 hours' notice for all medication refill requests to ensure we can have everything ready before the holiday.

A few additional tips to help keep your pets safe:
🐾 Keep pets indoors during fireworks displays.
🐾 Make sure collars and ID tags are up to date.
🐾 Provide a quiet, secure space where they can feel safe.
🐾 Consider playing calming music or white noise to help mask loud sounds.

We’re excited to share that we will be transitioning to a new computer system on Wednesday, May 6th!
During this transition period (May 6th–May 11th), appointment times will be extended to 45 minutes (instead of 30 minutes) to allow our team time to learn and adjust to the new system.
Please rest assured that you will continue to receive the high-quality care you’ve come to expect from Bay Road Animal Hospital.

At this time, Trupanion does not integrate with Shepherd as it did with our previous system.
This means we are no longer able to submit invoices for immediate, in-clinic approval and payment. Clients will need to submit claims directly to Trupanion for reimbursement.
