👑 Meet Princess 🩷
Although not a Shih Tzu Castle 🏰 Shih Tzu, she’s a sweet little lady whose owner recently passed away and to avoid the landlord from taking her to the humane society, a few of us came together to save, transport, vet and foster her until she finds a furrever home.
She’s been with me for about a week now, she’s a little shy at first (certainly not used to a whole pack of paws that we have here!) but is fine with all of our dogs, big and small, not the least bit dominate or aggressive and even lets our cat steal food from her food dish right in front of her! 🤦🏻♀️ She’s not a barker and is very well mannered, has free roam and has not had any accidents in the house. 🙌🏼 It’s easy to see she’s been well loved and cared for. ❤️
She saw Dr. G last week for an exam and is estimated to be 5-6yrs old, although could be older. She’s 13lbs. We updated her vaccines since we didn’t know her history. She received a 3 yr Rabies, 3yr DHPP, and a 1 year Bordatella. She has been microchipped and I’ve prepaid for her lifetime microchip registration for her new owner.
One thing to note, we are unable to tell for sure if she’s been spayed or not. So she may need that done in the near future.
As with ANY pet that I place, she will always have a place back here if for whatever reason hers doesn’t work out.
There will be a $250 adoption fee for her. This will help recoup some of the expenses and hopefully ensure she’s going to a home that is looking for this kind of furbaby and commitment, instead of a heart strings and impulse decision. 🐾 (< no judgement there, been guilty of that myself a time or two before!) ❤️
