🐰 What Makes a Holland Lop Fuzzy? 🐰

Have you ever seen a fuzzy Holland Lop? 🤍

A regular Holland Lop has short, dense fur with a rollback texture, while a fuzzy Holland Lop has a longer, woollier coat that gives them that extra fluffy appearance! 🥰

🐇 Ears: Just like other Holland Lops, they have adorable lop ears that hang down.

☁️ Coat: Their fur is longer, softer, and wool-like, often appearing extra fluffy around the head, cheeks, and body. Their coats may require additional grooming to prevent tangles and mats.

🐰 Body Type: They can retain the compact Holland Lop body type, although their longer coat differs from the standard Holland Lop coat.

💕 Temperament: Having a fuzzy coat doesn’t determine personality! Their temperament depends on their individual personality, genetics, socialization, and handling.

✨ Fuzzy Holland Lops are unique because of their beautiful woolly coats, making them an interesting topic for rabbit enthusiasts and breeders alike!

Yes. 😂 They really don’t have much of a choice around here!

Here at Flip in Hop’s Rabbitry, every teeny baby is handled from birth to 8 weeks old unless they stay longer We do daily checks when they’re tiny, and once their eyes open and they start hopping out of the nest box, the socialization really begins! ❤️

The heart of Flip in Hop’s Rabbitry, Riley plays with these babies literally EVERY day after school . She helps feed them, gives them plenty of love, and full attention all the time

These babies are used to most everything! People, dogs and everything outdoors

We have kids coming in and out of the barn, and honestly, a bad personality just doesn’t stay here. I truly believe temperament has a big genetic component, but proper socialization, gentle handling, and lots of positive interaction certainly help build confident, friendly rabbits.

We also have two dogs coming in and out, and the bunny shed all day long

I have SO many videos & pictures dogs playing while the bunnies are just casually sleeping in the background. 😂🐶🐰

You can definitely tell which bunnies were born into this chaos and which ones came here as adults—but even the adults usually settle right in pretty quickly.

It’s a fun place around here. ❤️
Definitely not a quiet one, though! 🤣

And honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. 🐰💕
