Our day to day goal is to provide the best temporary home, and loving care for our animals until they can find new forever homes. We are proud to say that we have placed over 3500 pets into new homes, and reunited over 1200 pets with their owne

Our staff and Board of Directors work toward educating the public about proper animal care including spaying and neutering, outdoor housing, providing proper sustenance, veterinarian care, and the many state and local laws and ordinances that a pet owner should be made aware of. We also assist local Law Enforcement with Animal Cruelty investigations and emergencies. The Tri-Lakes Humane Society covers a large geographic area in 4 counties (Franklin, Essex, Clinton & Hamilton). Under contract with local Towns & Villages, we provide both Shelter & Dog Control services for the residents. As a non-profit organization, we rely heavily on monetary donations from supporters to keep our doors open to helping the homeless animals in our area. Our volunteer Board of Directors are constantly planning fundraiser events, and we also have gained a lot of support from local businesses that assist us with fundraising. We gladly accept monetary donations of any amount, as every dollar helps us continue our mission to help the animals in our care. We also accept donations of pet food, pet supplies, cleaning supplies, etc. If you are unable to adopt a pet, and can not always give a donation, consider donating your time to become a TLHS Volunteer! Here's Rosie!
She is a 6 year old (Covid Dog) who loves to play ball! Fetch is her favorite game in the world.
She loves to go on walks too.
Rosie has lived with other dogs, but will do best as the only dog in the home. Her new siblings stressed her a bit, and it's now clear she should be the queen of her castle.
She is spayed and up to date on shots.
