Want to FOSTER for Sapulpa Furry Friends? Foster application can be found on our website. Email: [email protected] for more information. Fosters personal animals need to be up to date on all vaccinations, including bordatella for dogs. Fosters need to be aware kennel cough and other diseases are sometimes at the shelter so being up to date on vaccines is important. Short term or transport fosters will keep the animal until the transport date. Regular fosters keep the animal until they are adopted through Sapulpa Furry Friends. Medical issues and veterinary treatment for foster animals are covered by SFF but must be approved by us first and go through one of the vets we use. Fosters provide food, toys, water, etc. We are looking for responsible, mature individuals with animal experience to help out in any way. Volunteer application can be found on our website. LOST AND FOUND: If you are missing a pet or have found a pet, feel free to post a pic/description on the wall, or the SFF Lost and Found page, or the TAW Lost and Found page, etc.. Breeders may NOT advertise on this site. Craigslist is also good tool for finding pets. Be sure to post in the "lost and found" section and the "pets" section on craigslist. WANT TO DONATE?:

Monetary donations are always appreciated! Donations fund vaccinations, dewormer, flea/tick meds and other veterinary care for the homeless animals we intake. Donations can be made via our website or directly to our PayPal account. PayPal: [email protected]

Sapulpa needs Outsiders TNR!

Please consider donating if you’re able. They’re truly making an impact in our city and many others.

We want to take a moment to be real with our followers 💔

Right now, donations are low, and we still have several TNR clinics planned for this year that we truly want to continue. However, financially, we may have to postpone many of them if things don’t improve.

As a nonprofit, we rely heavily on donations. We apply for grants whenever possible, but unfortunately, we don’t always qualify. That’s why our fundraising events are so important—and why we need your help now more than ever.

Our TNR efforts are making a real difference in communities like Mannford, Bixby, Skiatook, Collinsville, Owasso, Sperry, Okmulgee, Broken Arrow, Sand Springs, Sapulpa, Jenks, and Catoosa.

If you see your city here, please consider donating or coming out to support our next fundraiser. Every single contribution helps us continue this important work for the cats and the community 🐾

Thank you for standing with us 💛

Green Country veterinarians and animal rescues are warning people after seeing more cases of a tick-borne illness in cats called bobcat fever.

Bobcat fever is a tick-borne disease transmitted to cats through the bite of a Lone Star tick. It is specific to cats and can be potentially fatal.

Experts say to watch for these symptoms:

💠Lethargy or depression
💠High fever
💠Difficulty breathing
💠Pale gums or mucous membranes
💠Yellowing of the skin or eyes, which occurs as the body struggles to process destroyed red blood cells

Update: Trixie is having surgery today to amputate that right leg. She will need 4-6 weeks of crate rest to heal her left leg. Vet’s are very hopeful for a full recovery.

We have minimal funds to cover this but we couldn’t let this kitty go unseen any longer!

Newly named Trixie was found in Sand Springs hit by a car last night. Thank goodness the witness was able to keep Trixie overnight. As soon as we saw the post this morning we instantly knew we needed to get this kitty help.

Trixie is looking at a right hind leg amputation and lots of ongoing care to get her ready for adoption. If you feel drawn to help Trixie like we did we’ve included ways to donate below. 🫶

Adaline has now been in the shelter for 245 days 😭

245 days waiting in a cage, not knowing what tomorrow holds. No soft couch to lay on, no special person to snuggle up with.

Adaline desperately needs a family to call her own and she deserves it as much as any other dog. She’s a sweet loving girl who’s been overlooked far too long.

Let’s share the heck out of this post and get this girl adopted!!!!

229 Days❗️
That’s how long this sweet girl has been waiting at the shelter for someone to choose her.

She was adopted once but returned after about a week because she wanted to chase the cats in the home. Because of that, we recommend a home without small animals.

She is very loving, well behaved, and just wants to stay close to her person. All she’s missing is a family to call her own.

Her adoption fee is $80, which includes sterilization and up-to-date vaccines.

Come meet her and help end her 229-day wait. ❤️🐾

Update! We have raised the full amount. Thank you so much!

Can you help us fund heartworm treatment for Douglas? He has been in the Sapulpa Animal Shelter since August 28th and finally had a chance to leave but tested positive for heartworms. We would like to pay for his treatment and help get him out of the shelter. We just need to raise $350. He appears to have had a hard life before coming to the shelter Fly strike on his ears, missing fur, and scars. But, despite all that, he is still super sweet! Any amount donated helps. Additional ways to donate in the comments.
