Hot weather can be tough on pets, but you can keep them safe and comfortable by keeping them indoors as much as possible and ensuring they have plenty of fresh, cold water. Watch for signs of heat stress, like heavy panting, glazed eyes, rapid pulse, unsteadiness, vomiting or a deep red tongue. If you notice any of these symptoms, contact your vet immediately. To help pet parents keep their furry friends safe, we're offering FREE microchips for cats at our El Cajon Campus this Sunday, Aug. 4 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.! Microchips are permanent pet identification that can help quickly reunite lost pets with their families. No appointment is needed — simply walk up to get your cat chipped!
