This year, my daughter Rosalie went out and talked to business owners and put together her own buyer's group for the Guadalupe County Fair (Not necessarily to buy her animal, just as a buyer for the auction). I did an externship with Dr. Lytle exactly 10 years ago this week. Pregging cows all over Arizona with him was the highlight of vet school. I knew I wanted to do what he did. He profoundly influenced how I structured my practice after I graduated. So, if you are one of my cattle clients and you have ever appreciated that I drove to who-knows-where to preg your cows, you probably have this man to thank. You will be missed Dr. Lytle.

Public service announcement: it is once again the time of year in which I am working on ranches out of town almost every day, so I am often not available for small animal appointments. I am regularly booked out for weeks. I do feel bad that I can't see your pets, but I do love cows!
