🐾A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us over this past week!

Whether you called to check in, dropped by, made a donation, or offered to volunteer, we truly cannot thank you enough. Animal welfare work is difficult and overwhelming, and planning this spay/neuter clinic has been a lot of work. But having so many people support this has been truly helpful. We are so incredibly grateful for this community and the support! 🐾

There is still a lot of open spots for this clinic. Please spread the word and make sure to sign up. Anyone can sign up, regardless of where they live so let friends and family aware of this event.

*Call 575-512-5893 and leave a voicemail if you need help signing up.

This handsome guy was hanging out in the parking lot at the TA. He's wearing a brown leather collar but no tags and no microchip. Please call 575-512-5893 and leave a voicemail if this is your dog.

🐾PLEASE TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE UPCOMING LOW COST SPAY AND NEUTER CLINIC🐾

We have an upcoming Spay & Neuter Clinic, and we strongly encourage community members to get their pets signed up. We do not know if/when there will be another clinic available, so if you have a dog or cat that needs to be spayed or neutered, now is the time!

📢 We want to let pet owners aware of requirements pertaining intact pets in the Animal Control Ordinance No. 461, Section 7-7-2 (Fees):

J. Intact Animal Permit: An intact animal permit shall be issued to persons wishing to maintain an unsterilized animal reclaimed by its owner from the animal control facility.

The annual intact permit is $50 per year.

Spaying and neutering helps prevent unwanted litters, reduces the number of animals entering the shelter, and helps our community work toward responsible pet ownership. ❤️🐶🐱
