New Microchip Scanners in Walton County!
We’re excited to announce that six microchip scanning locations are now available throughout Walton County, with the first station ready outside of the Walton County Shelter. These easy-access stations are ready to help you reunite lost pets with their families.
If you find a dog, (yes, even cats)and it's after hours, just visit one of the locations below to scan for a microchip. Step-by-step instructions are posted to guide you through the process—if a chip is found, you’ll know exactly what to do. If no chip is found, you can call 850-892-8682 to have an ACO pick up during business hours.
Our goal remains the same: Reunite pets quickly and compassionately with their owners. Your small action could mean the world to a worried family.
