Thank you to our team working their tails off right now Vans Warped Tour in DC so we can continue to jump into action for dogs like Bubba. He was pulled for a family in another state who backed out once his medical was properly disclosed. Them he had no one. ❤️ The rescue that pulled him said they signed away ownership so Bubba had no one.

We all jumped into action. 🐾 💥

Bubba, the senior pittie we have been fighting for since early May, finally has a loving fospice and rescue family behind him. This did not happen because of one person. It happened because a whole community refused to let him fall through the cracks. Thank you to everyone who has donated toward his care - he wouldn’t be here without y’all.

This is the time when we are always amazed by the rescue community who always steps up. ❤️ Mimosa was abandoned. She's been at a boarding facility for over 10 month with an unpaid bill. This boarding facility is a godsend because they have not thrown her out but they deserve to be paid.

🚨 MIMOSA NEEDS HELP! 🚨 RESCUE AND OR FOSTER NEEDED 🙏

This poor girl has been through so much it really breaks my heart.

I’m really tired of cleaning up after bad rescue.

Some of you may remember Mimosa. We posted her quite a while ago. Another rescuer got in contact with the original finder and have since completed f***’d her by not making sure she made it into a loving forever home. I am very disappointed and disgusted. That is not rescue.

Long story short, Mimosa has been sitting in boarding for months, forgotten. No visits. No support. No plan.

The boarding bill has become astronomical. The responsibility was left to the finder, who is now struggling with housing themselves. Meanwhile, Mimosa continues to sit there waiting.

We are overwhelmed. The last several cases we’ve taken on have required every ounce of our attention, and we’ve had to focus on the dogs already depending on us.

I know we can’t save them all. Every rescuer eventually has to face that reality. But Mimosa hits different for me. I feel connected to her. I love this dog, and I cannot stand the thought of her spending another day forgotten in a kennel.

Please, if you have room in your home and your heart, step up for Mimosa.

She desperately needs a foster.

She is also available for an adoption trial.

Let’s get this girl out of boarding and into the life she deserves.

Her time there is coming to an end, she will be taken to Baldwin park animal shelter soon because her bill has not been paid in so long. The boarding facility cannot continue to let this go on any longer. We can’t intervene without a foster. If there are any reputable rescues with resources fosters to help her please dm us 🙏

‼️LA Animal Services has shockingly sent a letter to foster families demanding that they either adopt their foster dog or return that dog to the shelter by June 9‼️

Let that sink in.

This is happening just weeks before the Fourth of July, when we all know shelters experience a huge influx of lost and displaced animals. Instead of supporting foster homes by checking on the dog, actively showcasing their animals and helping them find adopters, LA Animal Services is creating a situation that will force more animals back into already strained shelters.

If you are fostering a dog through LA Animal Services, please do not bring that dog back to the shelter right now. For many of these animals, foster homes are the difference between life and death.

A new General Manager begins on Monday. Let's hope this dangerous and irresponsible decision is immediately reversed.
