🐾 We Want Your Opinion! 🐾

We're considering switching from our traditional Heartworm Test to the 4DX Test as part of our annual canine wellness screening, and we'd love to hear what you think!

What's the difference?

🦟 Heartworm Test
• Screens for heartworm disease only.

🩺 4DX Test
• Screens for heartworm disease PLUS three common tick-borne diseases:
✔️ Lyme Disease
✔️ Ehrlichiosis
✔️ Anaplasmosis

Why is this important?

Many dogs infected with tick-borne diseases may not show signs of illness until the disease has progressed. Annual screening helps us detect exposure early, allowing your veterinarian to perform any follow-up testing that may be needed and begin treatment sooner when appropriate. Early detection can help prevent more serious health complications and keep your dog feeling their best.

What about the cost?
The 4DX Test is approximately $40 more than a heartworm-only test. However, detecting a disease early can often help us begin treatment before your dog becomes seriously ill. Early diagnosis may reduce the need for more extensive diagnostics and treatment later, helping protect your pet's health and potentially saving you money in the long run.
