My name is Dee, and like you, I love animals. I became a Registered Veterinary Technician because of my passion to want to help all these wonderful beings. As a result, I’ve been fortunate to work in the veterinary field for more than a decade. After helping people and their beloved pets for so many years, I was searching to find a new way to keep doing what I love. So “At Home Pet Care Services”

was born to help people care for their pets in the comfort of their own home. My experience has provided me with the opportunity to work with many different species, including dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, pocket pets, and birds. Personally, horses have always been my biggest passion, as I have been riding since 6 years of age and have worked with horses my whole life. My enthusiasm for further education led me to a certification as an Equine Cranio-Sacral Practitioner in 2012. I practice a non-invasive technique, working with the body's own energy and restoring balance to the horse's body so they can achieve optimal health and perform at their best. In today's world, I think we are all searching for what brings meaning into our lives and finding purpose in what we do. For me, it's helping animals and the people that love them!

It’s been a week of dog grooming. I only consider myself a “functional groomedr” but this week I fully groomed 4 dogs. For some reason the calls kept coming in. I kinda impressed myself though. I think they all turned out quite nice. Got a horse to clip Monday and 1 more dog to groom next week. Hope my back will hold up. Was not happy by the end of the day. Props to groomers that do this all day!

Did a second briard today. 2 down one to go from my client that has 3 of them. Summer hair cuts on the rise.

Big bathing and grooming day today. I don’t generally do a ton of full grooms on dogs but this guy really needed it. I’d say as a functional groomer, not bad. Man I wish u took a before picture. This is a Briard and they have very long hair and you can typically barely see their eyes. The owner just wanted him shaved down so we just went for it. Probably had no choice. He also got a bath, ear cleaning and nail trimming. He was a champ!! Go Stellar!!! And bathed his sister after. 2 more Briards to finish grooming next time I go.
