Veterinary Receptionists, Kennel Attendants and Veterinary Assistant
The Animus Veterinary Group is currently seeking experienced Veterinary Receptionists and Kennel Attendants to fill openings in our family-owned, state-of-the-art Veterinary Hospitals located in Monterey, CA.
Our ideal candidate is compassionate towards animals, reliable, eager to learn, motivated, and able to work well with fellow team members in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Act as the extra eyes, ears and hands for the Veterinarian to ensure the best quality pet care and to maximize the Veterinarian's productivity.
Provide professional, efficient and exceptional service at all times. This includes completing preparatory work for other procedures, ensuring that clients and pets are comfortable in the hospital, and monitoring inventories.
Educate clients about Wellness Plans, preventive care, pet health needs, any diagnosis or treatment, hospital services and other issues.
Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
> One year experience in the Veterinary setting is highly preferred
> Compensation commensurate experience and education.
> Knowledge of AVIMARK Software is a plus, but we will train the right candidate
> Physical effort: Work requires lifting, carrying and restraining animals (lifting assistance provided when lifting animals over 40 lbs). Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods of time; frequently works in a bent position.
