Jazzie had a small jump school today! She’s coming back into work nicely and decided to pop her over a few jumps. She’s in heat so she was a little grumpy but also never worked in this field and was definitely confused. She did so good all things considered! I am so proud of this mare! I think she is going to end up being a hunter pony.

Jazzie’s finally coming back into work after getting her allergies under control. She had sass to her today. She has been off for too long. 😅 Took both horses out to the field to open them up and let them run. Tangos been having a lot of ring work so this was good for his mental health. Wanted Jazzie to really focus on where her legs were and then did some ring work with her afterwards since she was very sassy.

Great riding session with the horses! Tango was amazing under saddle! My assistant trainer is learning how to jump and he is such a great teacher and then I took him over a couple. We just stuck to low ones since he’s not fully in shape yet. Jazzies been having issues with allergies so been having to keep her at a low work right now. Took them both out to the field to walk around. Both did great!

Tango did very good for his lesson today!!! Had side reins on him as he likes to try and yank the reins out of the riders hands. I had them loose so they only took effect if he threw his head down to pull the reins out of the riders hands. He didn’t even need them! He did so good! He took such good care of his rider and his rider did amazing as well!!! They make a great pair! Then decided to test him and stood up on him which he didn’t care about at all! He’s really shaping up to be a great horse!

Tangos first day of boot camp. He doesn’t really need training just more of a refresher since he’s been sitting. As well as some manners put into him. He knows his stuff. Just needs to be reminded. Couldn’t canter due to the rain making the ground all sloppy. He and I both wanted to canter but I didn’t want to risk it.
