A little teamwork for some very important travelers!

Our team recently came together to clean and prepare our Purple Martin nesting houses for another season. These houses give migrating Purple Martins a place to nest, helping support a species that has seen significant population declines in Florida.

The project was made possible with a generous grant from the AZA North American Songbird SAFE program and supplies from the Purple Martin Conservation Association. Huge thanks to our partners and everyone who pitched in to get the houses ready!

Now we’re crossing our fingers for some feathered residents this season!

Pretty sure Pj heard everything, but some extra grass should keep him quiet.🤫
