MEET HONEY šŸÆšŸ¾: Honey stopped by FOX 35 Orlando today, and now sheā€™s hoping to find her forever home! This sweet 4-year-old Terrier mix weighs 53 pounds and has plenty of love to give. While she may be shy at first, Honey warms up to people, takes treats gently and rides well in the car.

Honey is still learning her basic commands and, as a young, energetic pup, would thrive with a patient family ready to help her build confidence, learn new skills and settle into her new home. PUPS & PAGES šŸ¶šŸ“š: A morning of wagging tails, stories and fun is coming to the West Branch Library! Seminole County Animal Services, Seminole County Library and Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando are teaming up for the first-ever Pups & Pages event tomorrow.

Bring the family for a FREE morning of adoptable pups, dog-themed arts and crafts, and the chance for kids to read to a furry friend! Outdoor story times will take place at 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 a.m.

OUR LONGEST RESIDENTā¤ļø: Since August 2025, Woody has been waiting for a family of his own. As Seminole County Animal Servicesā€™ longest resident, this 4-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier deserves a place to call home.

Woody can get overlooked in the kennel, but he has so much to offer the right family. Heā€™s an active, outdoors-loving guy who is eager to please, highly obedient and knows his commands, including sit, shake and down. He loves tennis balls, car rides and, of course, pup cups!

Woody needs to be the only pet in the home and would do best with older kids who can keep up with his enthusiasm for life.

Woodyā€™s been waiting long enough. Letā€™s find him the loving home he deserves.ā¤ļø

A COUNTY-WIDE TEAM EFFORT: These kittens went from the tipping floor, where trash is collected at the Central Transfer Station, to new foster homes ā€” all thanks to Seminole County employees.

While weā€™re unsure whether the kittens arrived on the floor in a garbage truck, it was heartbreaking to find them cowering among the trash. We certainly hope they were not intentionally discarded. Kittens or other animals in need should always be brought directly to Animal Services, where staff can immediately provide the proper care and resources they need.

Weā€™re thankful that the kittens were found when they were, with staff collecting them and bringing them to our Five Points Government Complex. Before they even made it to Animal Services, County employees had already stepped in to foster to adopt.

Sadly, one of the kittens was already battling an infection and did not survive. Animal Services will continue to coordinate care for the remaining kittens until theyā€™re old enough to be vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered.

Bebop can be a little shy at first, but once he gets to know you, heā€™ll recognize your voice and come see what goodies you have for him. Heā€™s very laid back.
