Feathers on the Wind Farm We are a small hobby farm between Sanford and Moncure. We also have hopes of offering lessons of different sorts!

We are a small farm in central NC sharing our adventures with our fainting goats, springers and chickens with the world

See our website if you are interested in more information about our dogs or goats. Currently we are working on updating infrastructure so that we can add (meat) goats, rabbits and chickens this Spring as well as egg laying chickens! We look forward to sharing our journey with all of you!

Mom Mom MOM! The deer hide is in this tree! This one!

Considering it is deer season, I decided to work on some blood tracking with the dogs. Once Gwen figured out what I was asking her to do she was on it like she was born to do it.. and apparently she gets upset from her daddy because he was not going to leave that tree 😂

Yesterday we showed you Violet. Today I give you, Belle. She is actually five days behind Violet - due January 28.

I will say that she was also a bit on the chunky side prior to exposure lol

Oh Violet…

This poor girl is only about 50 days in… Another hundred days to go.

(sorry about the fuzzy footage. It was foggy this morning.)

We keep saying that the green beans are done… and the plants keep on giving 😂

We harvested probably a gallon or so more of green beans this morning.

The bean using her nose. They had lost several balls outside earlier today so we didn’t bring any out this afternoon. She is the only one out there making an effort to find the ones she knows are here somewhere.

(sorry for the noise, I had the fan running to try to keep the gnats off of all of us)

I fits, I sits.
