Meet Nikki, an absolutely gorgeous 8-month-old Maine C**n who visited us today for his neuter!

Maine C**ns are known as the gentle giants of the cat world, and Nikki is well on his way to living up to that title! Maine C**ns are one of the largest domesticated cat breeds, with some males weighing 18–20+ pounds! Unlike many cats, Maine C**ns are slow to mature and may continue growing until they’re 3–5 years old! They’re known for their friendly, social personalities and often have dog-like behaviors, including playing fetch! Their impressive fluffy tails and thick coats help protect them from colder temperatures.

Meow why Is neutering important?

Neutering isn’t just about preventing unwanted kittens! It also offers several health and behavioral benefits:
*Eliminates the risk of testicular cancer.
*Can reduce urine spraying and territorial marking.
*Often decreases roaming behaviors and the desire to escape in search of a mate.
*Can reduce hormone-driven fighting with other cats.
*Helps prevent unwanted litters and reduces pet overpopulation.

Did you know? Male cats can become sexually mature as early as 4–6 months old! That’s why discussing the appropriate timing for neutering with your veterinarian is so important.

Nikki, thank you for spending your big day with us! We can’t wait to see how much more you grow, handsome boy!

Veterinary medicine is built on compassion, teamwork, and a shared love for animals. Just as important as caring for our patients is caring for one another.

Research shows that strong peer relationships and supportive work environments are associated with lower burnout, improved well-being, and greater job satisfaction among veterinary professionals.

Having fellow veterinarians to collaborate with, discuss cases, share experiences, and lean on during difficult moments makes a meaningful difference.

It’s about supporting one another, growing together, and providing the best possible care for the animals who depend on us. When veterinarians and the entire medical teams work together with trust and purpose, veterinary medicine is stronger—and so is the care our patients receive.

A special shoutout to Dr. Lee and Dr. Vigh right here. Watching these two veterinarians support one another, collaborate on cases, share their knowledge, and genuinely encourage each other’s growth is something we truly appreciate. Their mutual respect and willingness to work together reflect exactly the kind of culture we strive to create.

Spay day or spa day? Raven might have gotten the two confused!

Sweet Raven came in for her spay, but she quickly discovered that being a patient at Trilogy comes with some pretty amazing perks… including unlimited love and snuggles!

Our very own Jenna and Ashlee made sure this beautiful girl got plenty of extra cuddles and reassurance during her recovery. And as you can see, Raven was MORE than happy to soak up every second of it!

At Trilogy Veterinary Medical Center, exceptional medicine goes hand in hand with compassionate care. We know your pets are family, and we love treating them like part of ours.

Raven, you were the sweetest patient, and we absolutely loved spoiling you! Here’s to a quick recovery!

One year ago, we opened our doors for the very first time.

What started as a dream of creating a veterinary hospital where exceptional medicine, genuine compassion and meaningful relationships could exist together became a reality.

Over the past year, these walls have held so many moments — new puppies and kittens, difficult diagnoses, surgeries, emergencies, incredible recoveries, happy reunions and heartbreaking goodbyes. Through every one of them has been an amazing team of people who truly care.

To our veterinarians, veterinary technicians and veterinary assistants — thank you for the knowledge, skill, patience and heart you bring to your patients every single day. For advocating for animals who cannot speak for themselves, comforting scared pets, celebrating the wins and carrying the emotional weight that comes with veterinary medicine.

To our unbelievable CSRs — thank you for being the heart of our front desk and often the first reassuring voice our clients hear. You answer the worried calls, welcome every family, juggle busy schedules, celebrate the happy moments and show compassion during the hardest ones. The client experience starts with you, and what you do matters tremendously.

And to our clients and community — thank you for taking a chance on a brand-new, locally owned veterinary hospital and trusting us with the animals you love most. Every visit, recommendation, review and kind word has helped us become what we are today.

We didn’t just build a veterinary hospital this year. We built a team, a culture, relationships and a community that we are incredibly proud of.

Happy 1st anniversary, Trilogy Veterinary Medical Center.

What started as a dream became something even better than we imagined. And we’re just getting started.

Here’s to Year Two!!!

Everyone meet Indy! She is the newest addition to some pretty amazing clients of ours, and she stopped by to see the Trilogy crew for her puppy vaccines, heartworm prevention, and f***l screening. Of course, getting a team photo with this little cutie was non-negotiable. 🥹🐶

Preventive visits like Indy’s help puppies start life on the right paw by protecting them from preventable diseases and intestinal and heartworm parasites.

Welcome to the Trilogy family, Indy! We have a feeling you’re going to have the entire team wrapped around your tiny paw in no time.

Fun Schnauzer fact: Those adorable eyebrows and that signature beard aren’t just ridiculously cute! Schnauzers were originally bred as working farm dogs, and their wiry facial hair helped protect their faces while they were busy doing their jobs. They’re also known for being incredibly smart, spirited, loyal, and full of personality — basically, a whole lot of dog packed into one adorable litte package!

Tashi’s Story: A life saved in part by the Kona Carr Animal Care Project ❤️

Sweet Tashi came to our hospital with a noticeably distended abdomen, and our medical team knew something wasn’t right. During her initial evaluation and ultrasound, there was concern that a mass or abnormal growth may be present in her abdomen.

Knowing Tashi needed answers quickly, our team moved forward with exploratory surgery. Once Dr. Davis began the procedure, he discovered the cause: a hydrometra secondary to uterine tumors.

A hydrometra occurs when fluid accumulates inside the uterus, causing it to become significantly enlarged. In Tashi’s case, uterine tumors were contributing to the condition and making her very sick. Thankfully, surgery allowed Dr. Davis and our team to identify the problem and provide the treatment she desperately needed.

But Tashi’s story wouldn’t have been possible without an incredible partnership. Through the generosity and support of the Kona Carr Animal Care Project, Tashi was able to receive the medical and surgical care she needed when it mattered most. Their assistance helped make it possible for our team to step in, perform her surgery, and ultimately save her life.

We are incredibly grateful to the Kona Carr Animal Care Project for helping us give Miss Tashi the second chance she deserved.

Compassionate care. Exceptional medicine. And one very special girl with 8 more lives ahead of her.
