• Owner must have sedation available to administer their horse if they want faces clipped in case they decline participation part way through.
• Horses MUST be thoroughly bathed, clean and dry prior to the appointment-dirty hair dulls blades and makes for jagged clips
• Nearby power is required

$250 for full body minus face and lower legs
$300 to include face OR lower legs
$350 for all

Cash or Venmo preferred. A non-refundable booking fee of $75 is required to hold your spot and is included in final price.

𝙇𝙚𝙩’𝙨 𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙠 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮.

One thing we have noticed working with a lot of the “GREAT” horses, is that they all have really bold personalities.

They have a natural confidence about them.

Often times they catch everyone’s attention, and make sure you know they’re there. However they can!

Maybe they seem a little diva-ish, cocky, and often what you may refer to as a HANDFUL.

But I think that’s what makes them great.

They’re passionate!

It’s hard to beat a horse that’s one built or bred for the job, but it’s even harder to beat a confident horse!

There is obviously a time and a place, but as your horse develops into a competitor, and really starts to step up, this is your reminder to let your horses personality shine, and I bet they become unstoppable.

2024 AQHA filly searching for her new 🏠 by Black Gotta Gun who is no longer standing publicly as of 2025.

She is almost 14h at the hip currently, will make a nice reining, ranch versatility or rope horse prospect. She’s a pretty mover with a big motor and a quiet mind. Very sweet and likes attention while still being feely. Leads, loads, hauls, has been introduced to clippers.

This is a horse the whole family can enjoy now and for years to come. To meet her is to love her. She wins the hearts of everyone she greets.

Jumping into the new year! What are some of your goals for 2025?

Mine include hitting the show pen at least 3x after a couple year break and get a few foals cooking for 2026 since I won’t be expecting any this year.

Have you ever worked for someone who constantly criticized you?

You might have done hundreds of things right in a day, but you never seemed to receive any praise for those things. You only heard about it when you did something wrong.

At the end of the day, you left work feeling defeated and unappreciated.

Now, think about your horses…

This is exactly how they feel when all you do is micromanage their every move.

When a horse is young and learning new skills, we are often quick to reward even the smallest effort in the right direction.

But, as a horse gets further along in its training and our expectations get higher, we often forget to reward them for doing the small things correctly.

We begin to nitpick their behavior and overlook the skills they have mastered.

We rush through the things that they do well so that we can spend more time on the things that they struggle with.

We think that, by focusing on their weaknesses, we will progress them through their training faster.

But, that’s not how it works…

If all we ever do is work on our horses’ weaknesses, they forget what it feels like to have strengths.

They start to feel like their efforts are unappreciated and unrewarded.

And, after a while, they lose their willingness to try.

Horses need positive affirmation. They need to know that their efforts are valued.

Don’t forget to remind your horses that they are doing a good job.

Storms Meow aka Kitty 2007 AQHA mare, former track horse, retired sound, out to pasture 9+ years, one foal, back under saddle last spring and used for beginner lessons. Not fancy but safe. Loads of potential in this sweet mare. Quick learner, retains her lessons and loves praise. She could be so much more if someone just spent some time and consistency with her. 15.3 hands, Sandy OR 5k

Docs Deckin Peppy aka Coe
2020 AQHA Red roan gelding

Leads, ground ties, hard ties, picks up all 4s, lunges both directions W/T/C, lightly started moving off pressure and ground driving, loads and hauls well, stands great for farrier and vet. Coe is a sensitive and introverted fellow, he does not respond under harsh or forceful training methods, he is for the most part in your pocket and a joy to be around, has hauled out occasionally to local events and handles it like a champ, been exposed to quads, bikes, fi****ms, dogs, and additional livestock with no issues. He has had one owner since he was 4 months old, he is UTD on all shots, worming and farrier, should mature around 15HH, currently taping 14.1 at the hip and actively growing.
Owners plans have changed and they’re wanting to compete at a higher level this year and need a horse ready to step into the pen and unfortunately do not have time to do a young one justice as well with the current show schedule.
Asking mid x,###. PPE Welcome at buyers expense. Good home is a must, not for beginners due to age and level of training.
