🐾💙 HAPPY VETERINARY TECHNICIAN WEEK! 💙🐾

Behind every successful eye exam, every happy patient, and every veterinarian who hasn’t completely lost their mind is an incredible veterinary technician! 👁️🐶🐱

This week, we’re celebrating four amazing members of our Veterinary Eye Institute Upland,CA family:

✨ Candice, Stephanie, Haelee & Maggy! ✨

From comforting nervous patients and assisting with ophthalmic procedures to juggling appointments, medications, and everything in between, these ladies help keep our clinic running!

They are the treat dispensers, professional animal snugglers, patient advocates, and the people who somehow manage to get eye drops into a French Bulldog’s eyes. 😂

Veterinary medicine isn’t always easy. It takes patience, compassion, dedication, and occasionally a lint roller the size of Texas.

We are so grateful for the love, hard work, and heart these four bring to VEI Upland every single day. Our patients are lucky to have you, and so are we! ❤️

Please join us in giving Candice, Stephanie, Haelee, and Maggy a HUGE thank-you for everything they do! 🥳🐾

🚨😂 VEI UPLAND STAFF: WHO’S GETTING KIDNAPPED… AND RETURNED IMMEDIATELY?! 😂🚨

We decided to ask our UPLAND VEI staff a very important (and completely ridiculous) question:

🎤 “If someone at VEI got kidnapped, who would the kidnappers return FIRST because they couldn’t handle them?” 💀🤣

The suspects include:

👀 Dr. Munevar
👀 Dr. Calvarese
👀 Dr. Deol
👀 Candice
👀 Stephanie
👀 Haelee
👀 Maggy
👀 Edna
👀 Ana

Between the strong personalities, nonstop talking, questionable humor, and pure chaos that goes on behind the scenes… we’re pretty sure someone would be returned with an apology note and a full refund! 😂

🚗💨 “PLEASE TAKE YOUR COWORKER BACK. WE CAN’T DO THIS ANYMORE.”

Watch as our staff throws each other under the bus with absolutely ZERO hesitation! 🎬🤣

👇 YOUR TURN! Who do you think would be returned first, and WHY? 👇

We don’t mean to brag, but we’ve got some pretty cool cats around here. 😎😻

Another day at VEI with Doctor Munevar!

He LOVES our social media days😂😂😂

Clocked in and ready to see patients! 🐾👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️

Captain & Rosé are officially working 9 to 5 ( we are open 8am-4pm) at VEI, and apparently they’ve decided veterinary ophthalmology is their new calling. 😂👀

Between checking eyes, looking through the slit lamp, and serving some serious doctor looks, these two are putting in a full day’s work.

Their qualifications?
🎓 Extremely good boys/girls
👀 Experts at staring
🩺 Will work for treats
☕ Already requesting a lunch break

Just another day at Veterinary Eye Institute UPLAND! 🐶💙

👁️🐾 A Favorite Experience with Dr. Calvarese!

One of the best parts of veterinary ophthalmology is the incredible experiences that come with helping animals see and feel their best. 💙

We sat down with Dr. Calvarese to hear about one of her favorite experiences as a veterinary ophthalmologist and what made it so memorable.

From unique patients to rewarding cases, every experience is a reminder of why she loves what she does! 🐶🐱👁️

We’re so grateful to have Dr. Calvarese as part of the Veterinary Eye Institute team and to share a little more about the person behind the ophthalmoscope. ✨

🌟 Amazing progress in just a few weeks! 🌟

These are two of VEI Orlando’s feline patients showing the incredible response we can see with treatment for eosinophilic keratitis.

This autoimmune disease can lead to significant inflammatory changes on the surface of the eye that can be blinding. With the right medical therapy they will eventually become completely clear again.

We are so happy to see these two kitties on their way to clearer eyes and brighter days! 🐈 🩷
