If it's too hot for you, it's too hot for them!! Think pavement..asphalt is soooo hot, even concrete. Walk in the grassy areas and offer fresh cool water often. Animals aren't immune to the heat like some think...think of yourself in their situation. We have to look out for them as they don't comprehend the dangers..that's why they have us to make the best decisions and do for them!!

This is a stressful time for not only the fur babies, but also the owners. Plan ahead and try to alleviate some of the stressors on everyone. Turn some noisy fans on throughout the house, feed and potty early, close all blinds, turn the music/tv up, get their energy out early in the day, and just stay home with them for comfort. We've had a rough 7-14 days around here working our hardest to stay open and be productive as much as possible through a flu epidemic around here; yet had to close several days for everyone to recover and heal. Hoping everyone is staying well, while understanding when we just couldn't. Looking forward to the week ahead and better days! When is Spring?? Can't come soon enough. Asking for a friend??? LOL!!😅😊😘
