Many people have asked where we got the name Bridge Gate Pet Cremations. We would love to share the story:

There is a very heartwarming poem known as the Rainbow Bridge Poem. Most versions seem to be Author Unknown but all versions are sure to stir up emotion and tend to be tear jerkers.

(See the entire poem in the link in the comments)

The idea is that "Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge." In this place we will be reunited with our pets that have passed on and you will have a joyous homecoming with your beloved pet. At the conclusion you will both cross the Rainbow Bridge together into your eternity.

At the inception of Bridge Gate Pet Cremations we loved the idea of this poem so much that we literally named the business after it. A little play on words that We are the Gate to the Bridge i.e. Bridge Gate.

You will also notice the three planks in our logo, each one a different color, symbolizing the color dispersion of a rainbow. Also, in the form of wood planks that you might find on a bridge.

Now you know.
