🍁🦦 COCO & CHANEL ARE READY FOR FALL FEST! 🦦🍁

There are two VERY tiny members of the Niagara Downunder crew who have absolutely no idea what a fall festival is… but they are already pretty sure they’re going to LOVE IT. 😂

Our baby Asian small-clawed otter sisters, Coco & Chanel, are getting ready for their VERY FIRST FALL FESTIVAL at Kelly’s Country Store on Grand Island, September 12th & 13th! 🎃🍎🍂

They’ve never experienced crisp fall air.
They’ve never seen a pumpkin patch.
They’ve never celebrated the beginning of the “brrrr” months.

But they HAVE mastered splashing, wrestling, stealing things from each other, being ridiculously adorable, and causing an impressive amount of chaos for two very small otters… so we think they’re prepared. 😂🦦🦦

Come spend a beautiful fall weekend at Kelly’s Country Store and visit Niagara Downunder! Our crew will be there ready to kick off fall with kangaroos, capybaras, otters and plenty of furry faces. 🦘🦦🍁

🎃☕️ CAPPY & CHINO HAVE HEARD ABOUT PUMPKIN SPICE. ☕️🎃

Apparently someone told Cappy & Chino that fall is coming… and now they have QUESTIONS.

Well, Cappy has questions.

Mostly:

“When do I get my first Pumpkin Spice Latte?” 💅🎃☕️

Chino is just standing beside her like, “I don’t know what’s happening, but if there are snacks involved, I’m in.” 😂

Our favorite capybara girl-and-boy duo is getting VERY excited for Fall Fest at Kelly’s Country Store on Grand Island, September 12th & 13th! 🍁🍎🎃

Cappy is ready for crisp fall air, pumpkins, cozy vibes and her inevitable transformation into the pumpkin-spice princess she was always meant to be. 👑🍂

Chino?

Chino would simply like to know if pumpkins are edible.

We did explain that capybaras do not, in fact, get actual Pumpkin Spice Lattes.

Cappy has chosen not to accept this information at this time.

Chino has already moved on and is looking for snacks. 😂🤎

So while the humans sip their PSLs, Cappy & Chino will be enjoying their own capybara-approved fall treats and soaking up all the attention!

Dear Anyone Who Will Listen…

We would like to formally introduce ourselves.

We are Coco & Chanel — sisters, babies, tiny bosses and huge financial liabilities.

We have not been here long, but we believe strongly in making a memorable first impression.
So naturally, Chanel decided the best way to introduce herself was with an unexpected trip to the doctor.

Because why simply settle in quietly when you can cause a minor emergency, stress out the servants, AND start accumulating medical bills immediately?

Coco, meanwhile, has been providing emotional support by doing what sisters do best:
Absolutely nothing helpful.

The servants seem tired already.
Excellent!!

We feel our work here is off to a very strong start.

🌧️☀️🥵🌪️ WELL… THAT ESCALATED QUICKLY. 🌪️🥵☀️🌧️

Western New York really woke up today and said, “How many kinds of weather can we fit into ONE afternoon?” 😅

First it was rainy. 🌧️
Then it was HOT. 🥵
Then the sun came out like nothing ever happened. ☀️
And then suddenly we were getting a little… TORNADO-Y?! 🌪️👀

Mother Nature, ma’am. Please pick a lane.

All joking aside, we hope everyone stayed safe while that wild weather rolled through today! ❤️ Hopefully everyone—two-legged, four-legged, furry, feathered, and pouch-equipped—is tucked in safe and sound tonight.

Because apparently September has arrived in Western New York and has CHOSEN CHAOS. 😂

Come in, meet the animals, snap some pictures and make a memory!

👨‍👩‍👧 Children must enter with a PAYING adult.
🎟️ Everyone entering the encounter area needs their own paid admission.

🦦✨ OTTER ENCOUNTER — $40 per person

Want to get even closer to the chaos noodles?! 😂 This is your chance!

⚠️ OTTER ENCOUNTER RULES:

🦦 You must be 12 YEARS OR OLDER to enter.
🦦 Anyone ages 12–18 MUST be accompanied by a PAYING adult.
🦦 NO children under 12 are permitted inside the otter encounter — no exceptions.
🦦 Every person entering must purchase an encounter.
🦦 Encounters are FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED, so don’t wait until the last minute!

And remember — these are live animals with personalities, opinions and occasionally very important otter business to attend to. 😂❤️ Animal participation is always based on their comfort and well-being.

So squeeze every last drop out of August tonight because tomorrow…

Dear anyone that will listen,

Shortly ago I retired to my sleeping quarters only to discover my servants had failed to provide me a pillow. A Pillow, one of the most basic necessities afforded to an Otter of my position.
Thankfully Casper had two that were conveniently located, surprisingly comfortable and technically not being used.
Nevertheless, I should not be forced to source my own bedding. I expect reinstatement of pillow privileges and no further discussion of where I chose to lay my head.
