National Heat Awareness Day is the perfect reminder to keep pets cool, hydrated, and safe as temperatures rise. Avoid long walks during peak heat, offer plenty of fresh water, never leave pets in a parked car, and watch for signs of heat illness like heavy panting, weakness, vomiting, drooling, or collapse.
If your pet shows signs of heat illness or heat stroke, please contact us right away or go to the nearest emergency hospital immediately.
