Monsoon season in full effect this year! ❤️ Watching rain fall in the distance while standing on dry ground always makes me pause.

The storm isn't where I am... yet I can see it. The dark clouds and the curtains of rain. Someone just down the road is getting drenched while I'm simply watching in awe. And I know that same rain could reach me at any moment.

Life is like that. We all experience different seasons, even when we're standing under the same sky. Some are in the middle of a storm, some are enjoying a moment of calm, and circumstances can change in an instant.

Today on my walk I was reminded to be grateful for the peace I'm standing in, to pray for those walking through heavy rain, and to trust that whether the storm is in the distance or right overhead, God is present in every season.

One sky. Different seasons. The same faithful God. Always.✌️

I have the pleasure of staying with the stunning Miss Sassy for the next two weeks. 💕

Fun fact. Sassy is the first pup I stayed with when I re-engaged in this petsitting endeavor almost FOUR years ago now.

She is very much my buddy. One of the smartest, easiest most laid back dogs I know. When you talk to her you can tell she understands. I always enjoy my time with her and she has a VERY big chunk of my heart. ☺️💕

Anyone else feeling the weight of the world right now?

Nothing is overtly "wrong" at all and we are blessed to be in a calm season ourselves but I know it's not the case for the world and some of our loved ones. My heart is doing its best to be joyful and calm but my anxiety is just on high alert these days and my sense of calm is sputtering.

I am choosing to pray it away. Sometimes it's hard to focus on Him thought when my mind is jittery thought. So, to help me do this, I have decided I'm going to look up a verse a day about fear and uncertainty until my heart and soul are saturated with the message (which may be quite awhile. 😋).

Sharing in case anyone would like to follow along with me. Hopefullu it may also helps someone else that may be feeling the same way. 💕

We have God. We will be ok. Sometimes we just need it drilled into our hearts with a hammer (a.k.a - Scripture). ❤️😊
