THE PLANTER CREW
These kitty kitties had a rough start, but have flourished despite it.
Born in a 3 foot tall planter, they were rescued within hours of being born. Mom cat got spoked and accidentally broke their tails as newborns, but I think those bent tails just adds to their cuteness.

Born 5-1-26.

Lefty: male, neutered, Microchipped, first shots. Black medium hair.
A little dude with a 90 degree bent tail. He’s the quintessential kitten. He’ll find you to just say hi! He loves playing with his siblings, by himself, and with you, all day long. He loves belly rubs and wrestling. This little speedy kitty knows no fear, so be ready for him to leap before he looks. 😆

Storm: male, neutered, microchipped, first shots. Black shortish hair.
The big beautiful panther. He’s chill for a kitten. He loves getting those full body pets, and he’ll gaze into your soul with that cute bit of a cross eyed look, while soaking it up. He’s a lap cat in the making.
He loves playing with his siblings, but is always up for some pets and playtime with you.

Grace: female, spayed, microchipped, first shot. Black medium hair.
This sweet girl gets right in there with her brothers, playing up a storm. She’s the perfect combination of sweet and playful kitten. She loves attention and will let you know if she feels ignored. And when she’s on the highest scratching post playing Queen of the castle, she looks the part! (Minus the crooked tail 😊)

Rabies isn’t something most of us expect to see so close to home, but a domesticated cat in Pleasanton has been confirmed to have rabies.

The cat was mostly indoor with limited access to a balcony.

Over the past month, we have sadly seen several families lose beloved cats to coyote attacks. These losses have been heartbreaking, and we wanted to take a moment to remind our community just how active coyotes are in our area.

Coyotes are not just found near farmland or open spaces. They regularly travel through neighborhoods, parks, greenbelts, and even busy residential streets. They are also not strictly nocturnal. It’s becoming increasingly common to see them during the day, especially in the early morning, late afternoon, and evening.

The safest place for your cat is indoors. Keeping cats inside greatly reduces the risk of coyote attacks, as well as other dangers like cars, toxins, diseases, and other wildlife.

We know many cats enjoy exploring outside, but we encourage you to consider safer alternatives like a secure “catio,” leash walks, or supervised outdoor time.

Please help us spread the word. We hope sharing this message can prevent another family from experiencing such a devastating loss.
