It is still happening to citizens and noncitizens. Entering the country illegally as a misdemeanor it’s not a felony. You don’t treat misdemeanor like this. This guy was a US citizen. Innocent until proven guilty means that exactly. That’s why police AND ice agents have the professional and moral obligation to treat everyone as if they are 100% innocent even when they are being questioned or detained, not just in court. These ice agents, these masked vigilantes, are oathkeepers, proudboys or other extreme rightwing loons.

This is a great story. I don’t know how many of you are following the Danny Masterson r**e trial in LA but this guy here did the world a favor back in the early 2000s. Just a really great story. Kind of a sad ending but unbelievably interesting, what happened to this guy is so remarkable!!!!
