September is Animal Pain Management Month! Did you know that dogs and cats are often very good at hiding pain? Subtle changes in behavior, activity, appetite, grooming, or mobility may be their way of telling us something isn’t right.

🐶🐱 Watch for signs such as:
• Reluctance to jump, climb stairs, or play
• Stiffness, limping, or difficulty getting up
• Decreased activity or sleeping more than usual
• Changes in appetite or grooming habits
• Irritability, restlessness, hiding, or withdrawal
• Vocalizing or reacting when touched
