Brian and Piper Two foster fail rescue pups from Hopalong Animal Rescue. Traces of brindle in coat. Very large front paws, good for holding things almost like a monkey.

Bat-like ears and mischievous disposition. Loves kids...sometimes a little too much. Likes to lick things. Has the uncanny ability to yawn with a toy in mouth without dropping it.

Piper crossed the rainbow bridge over the weekend. 🌈

She was the sweetest, most easygoing dog I’ve ever met. She was loved by everyone who met her. She greeted us with excited squeaks and tail wags when we got home. She gave neighbors excited scream while on walks. She was tolerant of all of Brian’s nonsense. Even though it was short, we are grateful for the 4 years we had with her and will miss her dearly.

It’s 2016. You love snuggling with your humans. You hate water so much, you jump over the tiniest stream. You make frequent trips to visit your human in college. You are so distracted my smells on the beach, you get hit by a wave. You have tons of toys and love to play. Your humans insist on taking you for lots of hikes and you like the smells, even though you aren’t a hiking dog. Pokemon GO comes out and takes you to meet up with friends to play it. Your human knits you sweaters. Your human dresses you up as the 11th Doctor for Halloween. Life is good.
