After a lot of tears, stress, sleepless nights, and soul searching, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to officially close down the rescue.
This has not been an easy choice after 7 years. I am tired, overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, and simply at a point where I can no longer carry the weight of it all the way it deserves to be carried.
We will continue caring for the 6 sanctuary horses that are already here and committed to us for life, but we will no longer be taking in horses, operating as an active rescue, or accepting tax-deductible donations after the end of May.
To everyone who supported us over the years — whether you donated, volunteered, adopted, shared our posts, believed in us, or simply cheered us on — thank you. Truly. It has been both a privilege and an honor to fight for these animals and give so many of them a second chance at life.
This rescue was built with love, sacrifice, heartbreak, hope, and every ounce of myself. While this chapter is ending, I will forever be grateful for every horse we saved, every lesson learned, and every person we met along the way.
It was a pleasure and a privilege.
Thank you for everything. ❤️
